I use Warrior heroes in a similar fashion. A typical build might have Symbolic Strike, "Watch Yourselves", Signet of Clumsiness, Signet of Distraction, Leech Signet, Power Drain, "For Great Justice", to name a few favorites. I might use Tease as a elite, or "Charge!" for a party speed boost. There is some top dps build that use range weapons, but almost no build only use one weapon. So pretty much all of them swap between a range and a melee. Condi Renegade use shortbow with mace/axe and he is one of the highest dps build in the game. Honestly ever single class has fantastic solo build options, so if there are any that you are leaning towards because you like them just go for it. If you look up "gw2 (insert class here) open world solo build" you can find tons of very strong builds. That said I think the easiest right now are probably ranger, engineer, guardian, and necro. Fable 2 I loved and I never disliked the absence of the Heroes Guild, walking into the ruined Chamber of Fate was such a memorable and powerful moment to me and I actually quite liked the premise of playing as one of the Last Heroes. I just wish the game would have had us restore the Heroes Guild, rebuild it, find and recruit new heroes etc. The best answer is play what appeals to you. If you feel forced into a class you don't enjoy, you won't have fun. And again, playing through campaigns you do not need to be optimal. Hard mode maybe for certain missions but at that point you'll have access to all skills and heroes so you can have your heroes do the heavy lifting if you so desire. In game name Oknores. I often use the calendar to check which followers I still need to look out for and which event enemies I can complete in my codex. Tier 2: These heroes are great, but you must use them tactically to get the best out of them. Tier 3: These heroes are decent, but require good allies (heroes) in the team to perform well. Tier 4: Average heroes that don’t do well and are not as effective and versatile as top-tier heroes. Tier 5: Avoid these heroes. I achieved 200m dmg for samurai stash gb for a 5m f2p player. Since i used this trio, i always topped the weekly contribution in my guild despite having 7m player in my guild. Seriously despite low level heroes, with proper line up and if u switch ur gears accordingly to the gb then u could contribute a lot more than before hpC3Z.
