BT 5.0 is faster than 4.0, so it's better if you plan on using multiple devices on the same receiver. Also, BT 5.0 is better for audio streaming, like wireless headphones. EDR just means Enhanced Data Rate. Mpow gets my vote, but any Bluetooth 5.0 USB adapter will work just fine. EDIT: Make sure you have line of sight with the USB adapter.
